HEARTS UNITED FOR GOOD (HUGCLT)

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These terms apply to text messages sent by Hearts United for Good (HUG Charlotte), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit at 1124 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28204.

1. Program. Hearts United for Good (HUG Charlotte) sends text messages about pantry appointments, volunteering and HUG events to people who have opted in. Messages come from 704-870-4336 or 704-870-4901.

2. How to opt in. When you give us your mobile number while booking a pantry appointment or registering as a volunteer, the HUG client agreement or volunteer waiver you accept explains that we may text you about that appointment or shift. To receive texts about other HUG events and news, you must separately agree, in person at our pantry or by phone with HUG staff (see hugclt.org/sms-opt-in). Agreeing to texts is never required to receive any HUG service, and you can reply STOP at any time.

3. Cancel anytime. Text STOP at any time to cancel. You will receive one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts. To rejoin, text START or sign up again.

4. Help. Text HELP for help, or contact us at contact@hugclt.org or 704-870-4901.

5. Rates & frequency. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Contact your wireless provider with questions about your text or data plan.

6. Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy at hugclt.org/privacy-policy.
