HUG’s Animal Welfare program is dedicated to rescuing, rehoming, and caring for animals in need. Over the past 24 months, our rescue and rehoming initiative has saved 39 dogs (also 1 cat and a guinea pig), placing them in safe, loving homes. Since 2021, HUG has also distributed over 35,000 lbs. of food to pets in need.

Through our partnership with Stand for Animals, we help provide spay/neuter services, vaccinations, and basic care for pets belonging to low-income and shelterless owners. When funding allows, we also cover emergency veterinary care — ensuring that no animal suffers simply because their owner cannot afford treatment. Our commitment is simple: to help any and all animals in need, whenever and however we can.
