HUG’s Community Support work extends far beyond our pantry doors.
Through our partnership with LaMelo Ball, we provided over $96,000 in brand-new jackets to students atTitle 1 schools. We brought joy to children by delivering 900+ Easter baskets to low-income families and kids living in hotels. When disaster struck Western NC, we hand-delivered over 10,000 lbs of relief supplies, and we’ve celebrated 1,300+ full- and part-time teachers across 17 schools with gift bags, snack bins, breakfast buffets, and more. Every project reflects our belief that strong communities are built through care, celebration, and connection.
